Ich wollte gegen 16 Uhr mit meiner Frau ein leckeres Stück Kuchen essen und einen Kaffee trinken. Meine Frau erwähnte das dort ein Schild stand auf dem vermerkt war, nur Kartenzahlung und nur Kartenzahlung über 20 Euro. Auf meiner Nachfrage beim Personal bestätigte man mir das nur Kartenzahlung ab 20 Euro möglich sind und kein Bargeld entgegen genommen wird. Ich war nicht willens solange zu essen und zu trinken bis ich die 20 Euro Zwangsabgabe erreicht hatte und wir verließen das Lokal, obwohl wir dort später auch Abendessen wollten. Das Personal sagte auch noch das das in fast allen Restaurants in Bentheim so üblich wäre.
Ich war heute da und habe mir eine Currywurst mit Pommes bestellt. Der Service ist wirklich gut und schnell. Aber so eine Currywurst habe ich noch nie gegessen. Ich weiß nicht was das für eine Wurst war aber auf alle Fälle war es die schlechteste die ich hatte. Die Wurst war nur im Fett angewämt und Geschmacklich eine Null. Könnte auch eine Vegane Sorte gewesen sein. Aber unter einer Currywurst stelle ich mir eine schöne krosgebratene Wurst vor. Sorry aber das mußte ich loswerden.
very nice owner waiting with his brother. the woman is in the kitchen. in the ausschank there are krombacher and as a food mainly carving dishes. I had carved with pepper sauce and roast potatoes, there was also a small salad. tastefully very good, for me the bratkartoffels could have been a little darker. next visit to nad bentheim I will feed here again. the restaurant is located exactly opposite the entrance to the burg.
Really a very successful room. Very nice and especially comfortable interior, also furnished for babies and toddlers. Prices were good for a very good bourgeois portion. The gourmet Schnitzel was very lush and also very tasty, as well as the staff was very friendly and courteous, therefore absolutely recommended!

Nach einer schönen Radtour bin ich dort eingekehrt, nette Bedienung, das Essen hat geschmeckt und eine riesige Portion gab es.
