I visited my family and since we had no reservations, we sat from the main restaurant. We were happy when the restaurant was clearly full, but as we were from the main restaurant, the service was very slow. The problem cam when my three little kids share a pizza and we ask for additional clean plates. Since the plates were slow to come, I saw a stack on the bank so tried to capture a few. An employee saw this and made it very rude that I was not allowed to take the plates. We learned later when paying the bill there is an extra charge of EUR2,50 for extra clean plates (full disclosure, this is apparently written on the menu, but we did not see it). I've never been charged for a clean record!...

The pizza was good, although I was literally surprised by stones in all black olives. This is a first one for me. The wine on the glass was terrible. Austrian restaurants are usually a pleasant surprise for tourists as they have good local wines on the glass and sell them at the same price (per volume) as the bottle. I had one of the Italian offers through the glass, probably a Chianti, and I left it as it was really inconceivable. When we came out, I discovered that they had a bottle of the spectacular Bolla Amarone in their closet that trembled me! Decor in the restaurant is curious. This part of Austria seems to have a fascination with old radios.

Food was average, but service was very rude. When we arrived, the restaurant was quite empty and we asked for a table. They replied hesitantly to say again minutes later that they had one, but had to be cleaned, so we had to wait a few more minutes. They were very unfriendly to my 3 year old daughter, unItalian. Ice was allowed only in a glass cup while they have normal cups for removal (which is obviously better suited for children). They wanted to take away our food while they were still eating. Don't say goodbye when we were gone. The service made the experience terrible.

The staff was not very welcoming, a bit abrupt, perhaps because we did not speak German? Otherwise the service was fast, the food was good. Be careful at the bill, as they include the table service (tip)... they haven't stressed it and we didn't notice until after we paid and tipped them twice...
