Walking through the quiet streets of Birmingham City Centre at 6:45 in the morning, I was drawn to the warm glow emanating from Grand Central Kitchen (GCK). As I entered, I was greeted warmly by a staff member with a French accent. After ordering my coffee, I noticed the Middle Eastern inspired interior decor. As I sipped on my beautifully crafted flat white with oat milk, I relaxed to the soothing lounge music. The friendly staff member, originally from Iran, made my experience even more enjoyable. I left feeling satisfied and welcomed, already looking forward to my next visit.
Lovely all day breakfast! You could choose to have what eggs you wanted, I chose cheese omelette which was lovely. If I had to pick fault the only thing I would say is that the hash browns aren’t included in any of the breakfasts, so you need to pay additional for them but was still really nice and very well presented! My partner had a coffee which looked lush and all the food we saw coming out for other customers looked amazing, the staff were lovely too and the service was good. It was my second visit to Birmingham and when I come back I will definitely be visiting again!
My new go-to place for a tasty breakfast!! Staff were super friendly when you come in and the food was so filling and delicious. Service was very quick and attentive so its great if you’re in a rush. Although the place is quite small and cramped, the food and atmosphere makes it worth a visit. It does get busy but its convenient location to the station makes sense. 100% recommend
The people who run this place are super friendly and obviously really care about the quality and presentation of the food. My coffee was massive and it’s so reasonably priced. The breakfast was amazing. It’s just a lovely place and they obviously really pride themselves on their food and service. The staff at this restaurant is great, creating a very friendly atmosphere. They offer a fantastic selection of breakfast dishes that will make you want to try everything. The owner is kind and knows how to take care of customers. This restaurant is a highly recommended option in Birmingham.
Good variety of food choices. Everything tasted lovely and the wait time was minimal considering is was extremely busy. Friendly staff. Brilliant location right outside new street train station. It was only £55 for four of us and we had lots of sides and drinks. Would definitely return.
Read the reviews, believe the hype This place was on our to-go place for a while and we shouldn’t have waited. Delicious food and very personal and friendly service. You can really tell it’s a well-run family business with heart for their patrons. Definitely recommend this place.
The customer service at this restaurant is outstanding! The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. The English breakfast was made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. The only drawback was that the bread already had butter on it, which was a bit unusual. Book a table now
Amazing service, cozy atmosphere and really good food!!! Service was super fast and wonderful. I had a perfect English breakfast and my earl grey with milk was made perfectly as well. Honestly amazing to eat here, I will definitely be back.
