this restaurant was formerly the village Co-op, but they would never know when they are inside. beautiful, tasteful decoration, large chandelier and a decadent ambiente, but also with a relaxed feeling, the restaurant and toilets were all immaculately clean. the staff are so friendly and take the time to make sure they enjoy their experience. on eating and drinking there was a large selection in all curses and a wide range of soft and alcohol drinks. the food we ordered came in a very contemporary hearthouse and was delicious. the prices were quite reasonable and we will definitely be back to taste the tasting menu.
visit them for lunch in the week. for the set lunch menu. great value, great choice and good food. really warm and welcoming atmosphere. extremely friendly and genuine non-invasive service. went in our support bubble and everything felt safe for the 3 of us, including the email checks that the owner took us the security seriously. will definitely visit again. parkin kuchen was delicious and my top recommendation, as was the wobbly suppe, which came plentiful, which allowed me to polish what my wife did not manage to finish...Looks, 1.5 starter for me. yummy.
Went for the first time last night we were well impressed. A very warm greeting from Sharon who is an excellent front of house. The food was very good and we were not rushed which was good. Quality decor and the lighting just right. Good not to have to travel to leeds for a night out. We will deffo go again. We also thanked the chefs for their hard work. We visited for the first time tonight and it certainly won’t be our last visit. Lovely from start to finish. Beautiful decor, friendly service and fabulous food.
great restaurant! the staff is super helpful and attentive. the menu is very modern, fresh and healthy. bar has a large selection of drinks. decor is new and on the market reminds me of a high-end cruise ship. all Kovid measures are taken, including masks worn by all employees, and extensive wiping of all tables after use.

Went last night for the first time with friends celebrating their wedding anniversary. A cheerful welcome at the door, even remembering why we were there. All the staff very friendly and good at their duties. All meals were excellent and enjoyable. A lovely evening, highly recommended. Thank you.
Great food, do a small menu but do it well. Not cheap but excellent quality. Staff spot on, attentive but not in your face . Only criticism is the do not stock a traditional bitter, but the shipyard went down well. Enjoyed it so much forgot to take a photo of pudding. (which was also very good.
michelin star quality eating, absolutely beautiful evening at grand cru. compliments to the cook! eating was phenomenal to say the ambiente was beautiful and the staff extremely attentive and friendly. I recommend this beautiful restaurant for a meal that you will not forget
the first time tonight at grand cru, beautiful decor. the personal was fantastic, friendly and so attentive. they couldn't do enough for us. we were a party of 18 and eating was nice, so a nice place and would highly recommend.

Everything from the food, the wine, the cocktails, the staff, the service,, the atmosphere to the attention to detail was outstanding. We will be returning and would recommend to anyone.
