Reliable tasty, service was plentiful but inconspicuous for basic details, i.e. coffee without offer or bring cream or sugar, brings toast without butter (toast is cold fast, so butter is best brought with automatic and ask to delete our plates again while a member of our party still eats. It is good to see that the restaurant has enough staff in numbers, but at least four different staff visits us (two servers and two bus drivers? but that meant that we repeated the same questions from different people, successively, and several repeated mistakes were made with simple beverage orders, and it felt reluctant: the dessert menu because we were asked several times, again before one in our party...
The menu at Grand Lake Kitchen-Dimond is simple and unpretentious but the food is outstanding. Seven of my most critical, hard to please friends joined me for dinner last Saturday and everyone was duly impressed. We ordered the Ruben fries and deli meat plate for starters and the food flew off the plates. The meal only got better from there. Between us we ordered sandwiches, burgers, steak, pork, shrimp grits and brisket. No matter what we ordered, the food was consistently delicious and well seasoned. I highly recommend Grand Lake Kitchen--Dimond.
Great food and very good wine list, with most wines available by the glass or carafe if you don’t want a bottle and reasonably priced. The food is quite good for the price point and the service is friendly (neither aloof or too fawning). The roasted chicken I ordered was really well cooked with a generous helping of root and leafy green veggies. The steak my friend ordered was also perfectly prepared and came with plenty of sides. A good place for a weeknight dinner and the acoustics and low music volume make conversation pleasant.
It was my birthday dinner and a group of ten and the waitstaff were very gracious, attentive and generous. We all loved the food, especially the Brussel sprouts, mixed drinks, (Hot Buzz was yummy but some others were watered down), brisket and donuts!!! The restaurant is spacious and clean. We will definitely go back!

I recommend GLK, Dimond all the time. I got a gift certificate from my nephew and took a friend to enjoy the tower o' seafood. She's very gluten sensitive and they happily accommodated her. We were never rushed, the food was great and the server and receptionist ? and bus people were all very cordial.
I really enjoy the food, the staff was lovely the location was great for me so I will definitely be returning here again some day. Thanks recommended!
Very good restaurant. Glad they opened in the Dimond district. Food is always very good. Only problem is the noise when there are a lot of diners.
Food is interesting. Deserts outside the doughnuts leave something to deaire.
