I would like to give this restaurant 5 stars or more if I could! for the quality and presentation of the food and for the view. But I marked it up to a 4 star because of the service, the price of drinks and a slightly pretentious atmosphere. We came for lunch in the week and were immediately sitting on one of their two terraces as we wanted. There is also a beautiful large interior with large picture windows with the same amazing view. We knew it was a gastronomic restaurant that would be expensive, but had seen a menu on the board outside for two/three courses. A nice and ‘typical’ restaurant with a terrace offering sunset view, located in a port in a tourist region is typically called a ‘tourist trap’. Mediocre food at high prices. Le Grand Largue is something totally different. A cuisine far above average, friendly waiters, a decent wine card and correct pricing. A top address in the region! We enjoyed the Golfe du Morbihan menu with oysters 6 Belon and 6 fines served with some nice bread and dressings for myself as a starter, and ‘émiette de chaire d’araignée et crémeux de crustacés au caviar’ for my wife, ‘homards rotis’ as main courses and ‘tartelette aux fraises’ as desert. My wife and I were here while I toured the beautiful Bretange. Its very beautifully arranged and we had a table at the arch window overlooking the sea and the small port of Navalo. We shared a bottle of Menetou Loire White Whine and enjoyed exquisite fish dishes, beautifully presented and deliciously designed. The desserts are a dream, as can only be in France!
A wonderful place, right by the sea. The view is amazing, especially the sunset. The food is fantastic and really creative. The waiter and waitress were attentive and speak fluent French, English and German! Very appreciated as we were a multilingual group!!!! Thanks for this fantastic evening....
