My husband and I went on a date and decided to dine at this restaurant because I was craving African cuisine. We both ordered the Jollof Rice with beef. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the prices were great. Our food arrived quickly, and we were pleased with the service. Although we didn't order any alcoholic beverages, I noticed that their drink prices were reasonable. We visited on a Saturday and there was a DJ playing music. It was a bit loud for the size of the crowd, but we still enjoyed the atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly and polite, although it was difficult to hear her name over the music. Overall, this is a fantastic place to visit for a cozy atmosphere...

I have been eating this type of food since I was a child. However, the moi moi and jollof I recently had were the worst I have ever tasted. It seems like the person who cooked them either didn't care or had never eaten Nigerian food before. The moi moi had an average flavor and was extremely dry. The jollof was terrible, tasting like old rice and tomato without any seasoning. I couldn't even swallow it and had to spit it out. I am very disappointed as a Nigerian who loves this cuisine. On a positive note, the egusi soup was decent. But to make matters worse, I discovered that the chicken in the egusi soup was raw.

I recently started eating meat again, and my friend kept raving about beef Suya. I decided to stop by this restaurant to see what all the hype was about, and I must say I am impressed. I came back again today. Although I initially questioned the price of $28 for beef and plantains, I now understand why it is worth it. I am willing to pay the $21, but please keep the price as it is.

I was here over the weekend, and the suya was spot on good, but the night was so packed with numerous guests, and the servers got carried away by attending to the known regular faces. The owner is a nice guy and attends to everyone. How I wish they had an expanded venue so it could accommodate their numerous customer base and avoid people stepping on people to pass through Book a table now
