We stopped in Gravelines on a Sunday morning, there was a good market in the square and then we went for a coffee in this restaurant, it was about 11.15 and we were due at the Tunnel for 2.30, whilst we were in the bar of this restaurant drinking our coffee several of the locals came in and appeared to be ordering takeaways, and they looked very good, so we made some enquiries and found that the bar had a Restaurant which went through to the harbour side of the town. It didn't open until 12 so we took a little walk along the harbour and beach and then got back to the restaurant for just gone 12, it was getting very busy but we were shown to a nice table for four people, the menu was mainly s...

My husband ate here during the winter and having enjoyed his meal we decided to eat lunch here on our way to the ferry. The restaurant has a kerbside terrace, as it was a warm day we ate outside. The mussels themselves were probably good, but were overwhelmed by coarsely sliced, very strong onions and ce...

I had the marmite de poisson which was generous I couldn't get anywhere near finishing it but it was terribly salty, and my wife had the englefin (haddock) which was ok, but came with both rice and potato, which was a bit strange. The server was pleasant enough but seemed just a little disinterested not surprisi...

Found this by chance. Really well cooked food. We had sole meunière and crepes Suzette. Belgians were at the next table and they had driven over especially to eat there saying it was famous and good value. Thoroughly recommended.
