I had a terrible experience at this restaurant! The food was dry, old, and tasted bland, like Wonder Bread. I ordered the asiago artichoke bread, but there wasn't a hint of either ingredient in it. Instead, it was overly sweet and just unpleasant. The chocolate chip banana bread was disappointing too—it contained only one chocolate chip in the whole loaf! I got this at an art festival, and after reading the reviews, it seems they prefer to set up in places where no one is familiar with them. This was some of the worst bread I've ever tasted, and I'm convinced they're misrepresenting their offerings. Additionally, the ladies running the stand were quite unfriendly.
I visited this place on 9/24/22 at the Holland Farmer's Market. This was the worst bread I've ever eaten. I bought the plain sourdough bread to snack on before going to a winery and it was so DRY and STALE. My sister and I took a couple of bites and threw it straight in the garbage. I wasted $7. A lot of their breads have food additives. Customer service wasn't that great either, the lady was stand-offish until you purchased something and once she started talking I rather she just shut up because she was kind of tactless.
I purchased a loaf of Salt Rising Bread at the Clinton Fall Festival last weekend, and it was absolutely delightful! It reminds me of the bread my grandmother used to make when I was a child. I was pleasantly surprised to find it and am so glad I did! I'm looking forward to attending the Appleumpkin Festival in Tecumseh and buying more of this delicious bread. Thank you!
I finally discovered a baker who makes a salt rising loaf reminiscent of one I enjoyed many years ago from a bakery that specialized in that type of bread. I will definitely buy it again. I picked up the loaf at the Kalamazoo Farmers Market and will have to check if they will be at a winter market nearby.

I spent $28.50 on a loaf of bread and two streusels, but I was quite disappointed. The streusels lacked flavor, and the bread went moldy within just two days. Although the person selling them was very friendly and spoke highly of The Great Bread Company, I feel it was a waste of money.
I used to buy your bread from Speyers every week until they closed for the winter. We drove all the way from Kentwood to your store in Allendale, and although the sign said you were open, the door was locked and no one answered when we knocked.
Bought two cakes at the MSU Arts and Crafts show. The flavor was only sprinkled on the top, not mixed in. The cake was dry and I swear a box mix. What a waste of $14.Five people each eating a piece makes the tin empty, not great taste.
Picked up some sourdough bread from a farmer's market. As others have commented, the bread had no flavor. Very bland for sour dough. Texture and crust not the best. Would rather buy from a grocery store.

I discovered them at the Kalamazoo Expo Center. We tried the strawberry Bavarian cake, and it was excellent! I wish I had bought more than one.
I purchased at a craft show in New Buffalo, Mi the cinnamon twisted rings and jalapeño bread pepper it was AMAZING!!!!!!
