This restaurant is a great option for tasty Chinese food without breaking the bank. The portion sizes are quite generous, and I love the range of combo choices available. It's the perfect place if you're trying to save some money. While the food can be a little greasy, it makes up for it with strong flavors, hearty portions, and excellent value. It reminds me of the kinds of dishes you would expect at a buffet.
I was thrilled to find a restaurant that serves Ma Po Tofu, particularly one that doesn’t overpower it with too much spice. The Chow Fun was prepared exactly as I asked. However, I'm still searching for a place that can make chicken chow mein without drowning it in celery. The prices for the dishes were quite reasonable. It's June now, and the restaurant still isn’t offering indoor seating.
I'm absolutely in love with their Vietnamese egg roll noodle salad and crispy chicken. The cream cheese puffs are another favorite of mine, thanks to the thinner wonton wrappers they use. I did try the sesame chicken, but I wasn't a fan of the sauce—it was a bit too thick for my taste. On the plus side, they are really quick at preparing orders, and everything always arrives hot.
Just a quick note: the hot and sour soup is heavily seasoned with black pepper. I personally enjoy it, but if you're not a fan, it's something to keep in mind. I live in downtown Minneapolis and don’t often venture out to Falcon Heights, but now I've discovered a fantastic place for takeout when I do! Book a table now
The egg roll salad was excellent, and the Triple Delight was also outstanding. However, the small wonton soup had a good broth, but the wontons were too large. The filling in the wontons was nearly non-existent, and what little there was contained some inedible gristle.
My husband and I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is consistently outstanding. We've sampled a variety of menu items and enjoyed every single one of them! We really have to remind ourselves not to dine here every week.
I’m a regular customer at this restaurant, and the service has always been fantastic. I used to live in Shoreview, and this place was my favorite, especially for their Ginger Spicy Wings. I highly recommend it!
