Greeley Chophouse - Table reservation

I decided to try this restaurant since my boss was visiting from out of town, and is a steak guy . We both had ribeye steaks, his was bone-in, mine without. The steaks were cooked to the requested medium rare, but were just warm like they had set a while. Steaks seemed thin, more in the 3/4 to 1 range, which doesn 't seem in line for the prices. Boss also inquired about peppercorns or blue cheese, which the waitress seemed to write down, but nothing showed up; he let it pass for time constraints. Nice place to eat. Food was great. Service by Riley was amazing and knowledgeable. First time there and would go back. Website says smart casual dress code, however most tables people were in frayed shorts, tennis shoes, tshirts, backwards hats and it seemed not to match the request or the prices. For the food pricing it would have been nice for a little more privacy, higher booths or tables not down center of floor. Only thing on food which was amazing was they put a dark sauce (demi glaz)over my ribeye. I want to see the steak and taste the seasonings. That is the center of the dish and how good the cook is. Not have a sauce over the top to hide flavor or char mistakes.

Our server Ramon was excellent. My meal, a Rib Eye Steak Dinner costing $69 was terrible. The steak was tough, dry and without flavor. I've had steaks that were burned that had more flavor then the one I had.

Our steaks took a long time to come out and then they were cold. The refired steaks were hot but had no flavor. It was definately not worth the price tag.
