I absolutely love the fact that there are health food stores like this in the Bronx. Those herbal drinks keeping me going through the day and their tea options are excellent. Glad they sell real seamoss and not the fake stuff. It can get busy but they still do their best to get to you when they can. I highly recommend going here if you need to get products needed for proper body maintenance.
Who got the now? Green Garden Health Food does. When I'm in the area I get the vegetable juice it's a mix of carrots, celery, beets, ginger, kale and apple. They also sell healthy items in the back. The items include teas, herbs, oils, supplements, food; even refrigerated items cheeses, drinks and ice cream. And its 1 block from the Gun Hill Station.
I have been living in the neighborhood for almost a decade now and I can’t frequent this place enough. It’s a beautiful space with warm welcoming staff. The juice is fresh and refreshing. Just the thing for a tired mama and baby to lighten up our day. :
I drive all the way here bypassing several others. Great place. Knowledgeable friendly staff. Fresh smoothies/juices in front. There’s a shop in the back and they have everything from herbal toothpaste to vitamins. Make sure you stop by when you’re near
