Just dropped in Sunday night with two friends for a get together and some food and drink. Deco is a weird mixture, but place is so busy that we only had a table available by the stairs down to the bathrooms. Waitress speaking a mostly...comprehensible German came to attend us promptly and offered us the menus, which are an international corpses over fare as is the decor. The beers large Guinness on draft came very promptly and were as warm as expected and downed soon. In terms of food the schnitzel looked huge and fries fresh, met no critiques. We were in town for the Elvis Fest. I believe they were offering a limited menu because of the festival. We had a cheeseburger with seasoned fries and a salad plate. Both were very good with large portions. The salad came with a few slices...of French bread and a small pitcher of thousand island dressing. All the ingredients were fresh, rather than a mix of fresh greens and pickled vegetables/cabbage as you typically get on a salad in Germany. The burger came with lettuce, tomato, onion and dill pickle as well as two beef patties. We didn't go inside so can't comment on the interior. Service was relatively slow but friendly.
Das Ambiente ist schon sehr zusammengewürfelt. Elvis Schilder, Kilkenny Schilder, "bayrische Andenken".Das Essen können absolut nicht empfehlen. Das Fleisch war bei 4 von 4 Personen tot und trocken gebraten, egal ob Rind, Pute oder Schwein. Insbesondere der Grillteller ist für knapp 20€ ein Witz.Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier nicht.Der Aperol-Spritz wurde beim ersten "Versuch" mit altem und schalen Prosecco serviert. Nur mit einem ironischen Unterton wurde ein frischer serviert.Und auch die Bedienung könnte durchaus freundlicher sein.Wir können dieses Lokal überhaupt nicht empfehlen.
If you would visit the european stations in the life of Elvis Presley, you might stay one night or rather more time in Bad Nauheim. IN this case I would strongly recommend you to go for dinner a Saturday evening to the Green Island. This...is really a place to be then. You can only hear the music of the single musician or small band with a Guinness in your hand or also have something for dinner. As at noon, you can have a good Schnitzel or if its on the card then, a good irish stew. All food is good, served in a rather short waiting time. Go there and enjoy.

Typisch für ein irisches Lokal ist natürlich das obligatorische Guinness, welches auch im Green Island bestellbar ist. Im großen und ganzen war es das leider auch mit "typisch irisch". Die Speisekarte ist gemischt, von deutscher über mexikanischer bis hin zur amerikanischer Küche ist von Allem etwas drauf. Das Essen ist gut, das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis angemessen.
Einfacher, netter irischer Pub im Herzen von Bad Nauheim. Die Speisekarte gibt viel her (natürlich kein High-Class-Essen) aber wir waren bisher immer zufrieden. Personal ist rustikal-nett :) Aber das passt prima dort hin. Ich komme immer wieder gern, Preise sind auch in Ordnung.
Rund um gutes Essen. Einzig die Beilagen waren sehr mager. Auf der Karte stand gegbratene Tomaten und Pilze und es war 1 Cocktail Tomate und 2 Pilze drauf. Das ist meines Erachtens sehr wenig. Das Fleisch war auf den Punkt gebraten und daher perfekt.
Ich war mit meinem Freund da. Die Atmosphäre ist rustikal aber warm. Die Bedienung ist sehr sympathisch. Man hat eine große Auswahl für das Essen und die Getränke. Ideal für einen netten Abend mit Freunden.

This bar was busy most of the weekend. We ate on the Sunday and the food was tasty but basic and a limited menu.
