This is hands-down my favorite brunch spot EVER! I always bring my family here for special occasions. The most recent one being this past Sunday for my cousin 's birthday. We were a party of 16. We had an absolute blast, thanks of course to the bottomless champagne ? Everything about this place is excellent; the service, the entire kitchen staff, the waiters, the mariachi, the ambiance, absolutely everything. They offer an all you can eat buffet which consists of rice, beans, enchiladas, carne de puerco en salsa roja, chilaquiles, pasta, menudo, pozole, a taco, omelet and waffle bar. Great buffet, menudo, posole awesome. Staff is wonderful. Beautiful place, mariachis played. Highly recommend it. Homemade Mexican that is wonderful. Oh... and homemade tortillas, you can watch them make. Catalina Lupe are so cute! They have Sunday brunch so make sure to reserve a spot. Excellent!!!!
This was my first time here, and the ambiance was perfect to celebrate a birthday, or birthdays ?. Sunday brunch prices, parking lot gets full so keep an eye out for public parking near Bowers Museum. Attentive staff and roaming mariachi band seemed to melt the time away into wonderful memories.
I went to the restaurant with a group of 15, and the experience was only satisfactory at best. We paid $45 per person, but we ended up sitting on flimsy plastic chairs that were cramped together at a table that felt inadequate for our group size.
