My sister and I visited Green Valley Restaurant in Irvington, KY today for a bite to eat. The decor in the area where we sat was quite nice, but the table was wobbling on its pedestal and definitely needs some attention; I suspect the screws might be loose or stripped. I ordered the open-faced roast beef along with cheese sticks, both of which were served hot and delicious. However, the mashed potatoes had an unpleasant hard crust, which they shouldn't have had. Despite these two minor issues, I'm giving Green Valley Restaurant a 4-star rating. If I come back and they address the points I've mentioned, I'll gladly upgrade my rating to 5 stars.
Haven't been here in decades. Mom and Pop would stop here on our way to Rough River. Remembered it being a nice place with good food. Wasn't disappointed. Interior looked a little different from what I remembered. It was a cold ,wet day when we get there and after a few cups of coffee I began to unthaw. Really enjoyed ourselves. Service was prompt and courteous . Parking: Parked right by the entrance door. Nobody awake yet so we pretty much had the place to ourselves.
Delicious food, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere. I’ll definitely return. I highly recommend the cabbage and fried chicken. The tea was also very good.

I order from this place all the time. I got a grilled chicken salad. The chicken was like rubber and not even cooked all the way. They just lost my

The friday buffet was good but way overpriced. Charged us adult price for child buffet. Won't be back.
It's a place where I meet a friend,she likes it alot so I go. The people who work there are real nice.
