I made a special reservation for five people and when we arrived the reservation wasn't even confirmed, it felt like we had ordered it and hadn't picked it up... The restaurant is very nice and nicely located. Unfortunately, the service only understands minimal German. The food was okay, I really expected more!! The pasta dishes are drowned in oil or sauce. Cook better at home sorry... it's a shame the price wasn't right for us at all.
Excellent location, extraordinary view over Appenzell mountains, great food and excellent service. The waiters are very friendly. I will certainly go back with my family and friends and I strongly recommend it.

It's for well-cooled customers. The prices are too high for me. Example: Rivella CHF 4.90. The food prices are also not cheap. I thought there was also simple food here, unfortunately this is not the case Book a table now
Beautifully located... lots of parking spaces... very friendly service... the entrance is a bit dark and could be improved with some paint... definitely order Appenzeller Spätzli
