It's been years since I last visited Greggs, and the unique taste stayed with me since I hadn't had the chance to try it for over a decade. Naturally, my expectations were very high, but unfortunately, it seems the quality of their food has significantly declined since my last visit. Initially, I wondered if I had been idealizing it or misremembering the flavor. To compare, I tried a pasty from a nearby shop, and that's how I recall pasties tasting. The service and atmosphere, however, were excellent. I'll give Greggs another try—perhaps I just had an off-day.
