What a lovely hotel! It is right on the water with an absolute stunning view of the Alps. It is an older hotel but it was honestly the nicest place we stayed on our trip. Outlets everywhere in the room, lots of space, large bathroom with a relatively deep bathtub, a radiator heated towel rack, a kettle instead of just a regular coffee pot, and tilt and turn windows that open all the way. It was the first place we’ve stayed in decades that gives you an actual key to your room which was a cool throwback. We have a friend who lives just outside the city and we told him to send everyone here, we liked it so much. Accessibility notes- 2 small steps (2” to get into the front door, level after that...
Very loud on weekends when the weather is nice if your room faces the harbor. Music and hustle and bustle until at least 2 a.m. The rooms are functional rather small. The parking situation is not good. Parking around the hotel is possible during the season, but is by no means guaranteed.
You get all expect from a 3 star hotel. All was clean, staff friendly and helpful. Room size was ok for 1 person. No smell on corridors as others say. Great location in centre next to the lake.
