Griendel Brasserie Artisanale

We recently discovered the Griendel and a single visit was all it took to know it will become one of our go to places in Quebec City to enjoy a great beer (their IPAs are delicious) and a meal (loooooove the meat and cheese platter). Whether you go at night or in the early afternoon, there always seems to be a crowd, which is a good sign a lot of people agree on the fact that the brewery a pretty nice place to hangout at. Oh, and did I mention, the beer’s really, really good?!

Having seen the range of craft beers on the display board behind the bar, we decided to call in on our last evening in the area. We were seated towards the rear of the restaurant where the same beers were displayed on a huge chalk board. I would have appreciated the percentages of the beers displayed there- as they are behind the bar. Waiting staff were lovely and my only regret was that we were unable to stay for the live music for which the instruments were already set up.

Very nice craft brewery serving up brew pub style bites. The beer here is decent and we'll crafted. The ambiance is very warm and inviting, a place you can easily spend hours chilling with friends and relaxing. The service here was friendly, courteous and eager to assist with their beers.

Service was great and efficient, very friendly staff. Very packed. Food was great, best fish and chips I've ever had, brownie was DELICIOUS. Dying to go back.

Great atmosphere with lots of real quebecois there! Not touristic at all. Small choice of food but really good and many lokal beers. Little bit loud
