Love Grill 23, have been going there for all nights out for 10 years. Never had a bad meal until Saturday night. Had to send a steak back twice. Order a filet medium, came out red inside, sent back and it came back the same. Management took the steak and had it re cooked a 3rd time. Blamed it on renovations disrupting the kitchen staff which is understandable but by the time I received my steak everyone else was finished with their meal and sides. So sad but hopefully things will return to normal when renovations are completed
Ordered a steak medium rare and was served an extremely well done one. We ordered sides which were super expensive to go with our steaks and by the time they had rectified the issue they were stone cold and I couldn’t eat them so they were wasted. Don’t order the Mac and cheese side either as it’s just pasta and no cheese. Basically my husband ate alone and then I was served mine very expensive dinner and won’t go again
My first check was higher than it should have been by over $50. They gave me a corrected check and it had add-ons that I didn’t order or receive. I’ve been shorted oysters when I’ve come here previously. My advice is to review your check in detail before paying. The ambiance and food is not worth the price.
We were celebrating my husbands birthday just the 2 of us. It was a lovely evening everything was perfect. Our waiter was excellent as were our filets and all the sizes. We have tried other steakhouses in Boston but this one is the best!
