There is no doubting what is the main focus of this restaurant and they know how to cook them meats. Their tenderloin steak was indeed tender and their pork ribs was well cooked and tasty. The plating is standard cafe fair. Meat and a bit of mixed leafs and a drizzle of vinaigrette is about it. Chips were excellent and servings were generous. However, the ambience of the establishment is a bit too relaxed. I can understand low key and casual but this place is a bit confusing. We were a group of 12 tourists and we had a birthday girl in the group. We went to Blue Mountain in the morning and tried so hard to think of a place for a birthday dinner on the way back to the city. Luckily we found this restaurant here and called them to ask for reservation. The staff was so kind to arrange the details and also a birthday cake for us. Made the whole group a very enjoyable and unforgettable experience. Went to the restaurant with my husband for the first time at this place and didn't have any expectations. However upon entering, I was welcomed by the waitress who was very, very kind and showed us to our table. The atmosphere of the place was wonderful with its beautiful paintings- very child friendly place as well. The food here was exceptional. They were very generous with their portion size, a compliment to the chefs who made such delicious meals. It is a very affordable and wonderful place to dine at!
food was fabulous. been here about 4 times now and the consistency of food has always been superb. i usually order a sirloin and my missus has the tenderloin. asked for a medium rare steak and never a let down. creamy garlic mash is a good mix with the mushroom sauce. very reasonable pricing for food itself and the service. intending on coming back for a family members birthday. thank you guys for the brilliant experience! Been here with few friends. Service was what I call old fashioned genuine and friendly. Main menu does not feature platters to share but if you ask you will leave very happy. Good value for money if you share with friends. food that hits the spot.Sadly we dont live locally so can get it delivered.
Came with one other friend at this restaurant. We shared stuff mushroom and garlic bread for entree' and for mains we had Sirloin/Tenderloin, both were perfectly cooked. We enjoyed real quality food and service. It is a great place to bring a family as well, which I intend to next time !!
I have fallen in love with the tenderloin steak. Been here a few times but each time, I have not been disappointed. Loved the mushroom sauce on the side. I'm more of a veggie person so I'm happy they let you swap the chips for seasonal vegetables. Definitely recommend to others!!
Restaurant was not busy but took a long time to order and then an hour later for food, fish was beautiful but lamb ribs fatty and basically inedible, mentioned this to wait staff but no redress, won't be back

It doesn't make me happy to make a bad review, but when it's something as basic as 2 hamburgers and chips, and it costs $40 and it's awful, it's just very disappointing. One was a beef burger. So dry
