Unique building with cathedralesque ceiling, killer aquarium behind the bar, warm inviting lighting. Food is good. I had grilled rainbow trout. Comes with rice and green beans. Very tasty and a large portion. My wife had shrimp grits. Not a home run but at least a ground rule double. All things considered, a real NPR. A non pretentious restaurant.
Grilled trout was very good... damp not dry and slightly seasoned. It came with a wild rice and freshly steamed green beans. The rolls were made in the house... they were a beautiful small size and light in the texture... served with whipped butter. My brother got the grilled meat and Braunschweig with garlic potatoes and green beans... well.
I had a great time! We went for Sunday brunch and were seated so quickly! 3 out of the 4 plates at our table came out perfect but took forever coming out of the kitchen. But the server and general manager went over and above to apologize, provide free dessert AND discounted our check. I will definitely return to the “fancy” atmosphere.
Had a wonderful time in this barbecue 29 location. The staff (hoss, manager, service) was great during my visit. The restaurant is clean, well lit and spacious. Food quality is amazing. I had the Classic Cub with French fries as lunch. The sandwich was well prepared, seasonally fixed for perfection. I recommend this restaurant. Book a table now
The food at this restaurant was fantastic! The scallop and bacon relish appetizer, bacon wrapped filet, and crab cakes were all delicious. Although we experienced a delay with the kitchen service, the management was very friendly and made sure everything was perfect. We will definitely be coming back for the amazing food!
A friend took me to this restaurant and I absolutely loved the salmon brulée. The combination of flavors was amazing and each bite was a burst of different aromas. The service was excellent, with our waiter being attentive and patient in suggesting dishes. I was disappointed that they are now closed.
