Its got a few seats inside and out on a small patio area.good food plenty of choice .reasonabley priced.pictures of george behind the counter plus menu pics. Also some verses written by georges wife and she wrote them round the walls .its a great place with some of the best fish and chips in banbury.george and his wife are a lovely couple and all the staff are brilliant go and give it a try you will see for yourself what im saying is correct.
This is by far the best chip shop in Banbury. We treat ourselves every weekend to fish and chips from here. Really reasonably priced, especially compared to others, great portions and always fresh and delicious. Would recommend to anyone! Always get large cod and chips and is the best ever. Just thinking about it makes me want chips again! Top marks!
It's always a pleasure to visit here, as personal service is uppermost in their minds, even if you are not sure of just what to get. The fish is of a high quality and really fresh, being so far inland from the coast. The chips are generous in their portions, so we limit our visits these days to maintain a health weight!
We are a family of 4 from Australia touring the UK and tried both some fish and chips and kebab, chip and salad trays tonight. Food was fresh and great value for the serving sizes and service was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place. Book a table now
Thought I would try this sh#t shop for a change wish I hadn’t bothered. Chips were horrible fish was soggy it all went in the bin, waste of 4.50 and now I’ve got to find something else to eat.
If we are heading south... or returning we try and grab a snack here... food is excellent and great value also... main chips and a side for a fiver is darn good value in my book!
Always friendly welcome and the staff are brilliant,the food is 11 out of 10,I go there at least once a week,never had a bad meal since I first visited 15 years ago.

"Visited for lunch today after a tour of Hook Norton Brewery food was excellent and lovely friendly service. We were celebrating a friends 60th and they kindly decorated a plate with chocolate Happy Birthday and put a candle in his dessert. Would highly recommend!"
