Steer clear!!! Ok food, bad coffee, feral staff! Had breakfast here this morning, ordered pancakes which were dry and crunchy (food server not fussed I didn't eat much) though my other companions enjoyed their meals. One of my companions ordered a cappuccino but the food server brought out a latte - not a big issue but when we mentioned this the food server got defensive and screeched "you ordered a latte, I wrote it down!" and got quite catty clearly taking it personally. My guilty pleasure when travelling is Eggs Benedict for breakfast. Each time we stay in St.Kilda we go here for breakfast every morning. The Eggs Benedict are exceptional with, of course, homemade Hollandaise Sauce, as opposed to some places that open a jar and schlep a jellified spoonful of tasteless, mass-produced goop on top. The coffee here, too, is excellent, and the staff attentive and professional.
I was drawn here for breakfast this morning I am so grateful for that happening. Eating your breakfast bowl was such a pleasure. So fresh but also quite filling. Just what I needed before my flight back to the Sunshine Coast. Would defs eat here again recommend you to friends family.

I've only been in here once due to the fact that whenever I walk by it's quite busy We stopped in one hot day for an iced coffee and an iced chocolate.
This is my local and I love it. Good coffee, good food and a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Can be pumping at weekends, particularly in good weather.
Eat here at least once a week and there is one great waitress but if she's not working the service is a bit lack luster and slow.
