After a business meeting, I stopped at this really nice restaurant on a side street off Rotkreuzplatz for lunch. The day was warm and sunny, so I sat at one of the outside tables and was greeted immediately by a friendly waitress. I ordered the...daily noon special, which this time was a pork cutlet in a mushroom Pfefferlinge cream sauce with a serving of Rosti fried patties of diced potato. It was wonderful! The pork was very tender, the sauce perfectly seasoned, and the Rosti nice and crunchy. And they served Augustiner beer on tap! The whole check including beer came to under Euros. A great price for some great food
We enjoyed our meal sitting out on the quiet streetside. My Cajan steak and salad was excellent with a spicy butter sauce. All enjoyed their meals and we would go again. A short walk from noisy Rotenkreuz platz is worth it
Perfect for a pleasant and relaxed dinner with family andor friends in a 'gastro pub' atmosphere for want of a better word!, good food, nice choice of cocktails and wine, friendly staff, good service can't ask for more
