The Grotto is an upscale and classy restaurant with a vibe of a hidden prohibition era establishment. There were some interesting meal options not often found in other downtown restaurants. I had the plank steak and frites which are steak-cut fries. The steak was tender and very tasty, while the fries had the right amount of crisp and seasoning. My family members had fish or vegetarian meals and we were all very pleased with our food. The servers were professional, courteous, and very friendly. Service was prompt even though the restaurant was packed, and the cost was very reasonable for our very above-average meals. We are definitely going back to the Grotto on our next trip to St John 's!...
