Cozy place, both in summer and during the cold season. Personal, kind and competent. Place equipped for small and large numbers of people. Practical for cyclists, hikers and tourists from everywhere. Excellent value for money. Local gastronomy (the menu written in Ticino dialect...original and commendable! and various home-produced foods as well as the excellent wines from their vineyards. I have been a customer for a few years, more than satisfied
We came here on a recommendation. The restaurant is beautifully located, you can look across the meadow towards the mountains and listen to the crickets and birds. The map is small but nice. The food was very good, the wine was excellent. The service was very friendly and accommodating. It was a completely successful evening. Contrary to some critics, I think the prices are reasonable. I also pay €35 for an entrecôte in Germany.
We have been stopping for lunch during Slowup for years! We have always had excellent lunches with attentive service, capable of satisfying needs even though on this occasion there were many customers.
