Stopped here after a basketball game with about nine kids and five parents. They accommodated this tough group without batting an eye. We were all seated together in about five minutes. Just wanted some simple pizza for the kids although some ordered some wings or boneless bites. Pizza is always good but the wings and boneless bites were just OK. That is expected when you go to a pizza first place. Took a little longer than we anticipated for the food to come out but we were a party of 14 so once again that was expected. It wasn't very busy. It definitely worked perfect for a late Sunday afternoon team dinner! Waitress was very helpful and had a lot of patience with us.
Like John...we had a similar experience so instead of complaining we just ordered extra cheese. This is what we got tonight. After 14 years ordering there, don't know what's happened in the past 2 years...... I'm adding an edit to this 4 months after the above post. Changed from 1 to 4 stars....We had Grotto's pizza tonight after not having it for a very long time because of several bad experiences in a row... whomever made our pizza tonight REDEEMED my love for grotto. Crispy, perfect cheese/sauce balance. Sorry no photos, it's been eaten ?
Have been going here for a few years. The experience and food are typically good. Went today and they seem to have replaced the white meat with dark in their grand slam wing dip. I get that they raised the prices, all businesses have, but please don?t reduce the quality too. Also, our waitress was fabulous and a delight. She was attentive and very pleasant. On a side note: We ate at the Harvey?s lake Grotto about a week ago. The wing dip there was all white meat and not very oily. What are they doing differently?
I hate to do this but very very disappointed today. Not only was I made the wrong pizza when I specified the exact pizza I wanted. Nothing special either) but even the wrong pizza is dry and has almost no cheese on it. I only get to have pizza fromhere once in a while as it?s almost an hour away. What a let down. :

Absolutely, I drove two hours just to enjoy Grotto pizza and even brought half a slice home with me! I have no regrets about this delicious experience! An added bonus was that I didn’t have to wait in line. Margherita pizza is the way to go! The fresh garlic is definitely their secret weapon.
just ordered a plain cheese pizza, and this is what I got.. paper thin crust. A whole bucket of sauce dumped on it and zero cheese. Tried to eat it and its like eating a bowl of spaghetti sauce. Helen Keller could make a better pizza. This place is TRASH. Thats where this pizza belongs
Had lunch At Grotto’s near Wyoming Valley mall prior to Transiberian Orchestra Concert. Our 2 Pizzas were exceptional. Thin and crispy crust just how we like it. Service was also excellent. Great experience!!
After several years of dining here I can honestly say that I have never had a bad meal. The service provided by Kendra R was the best. We will be back to try the burgers which she personally recommended.

Visited this place prior to going to the circus. I had Chicken parmesan, which was pretty decent. Came on a Kaiser roll. French onion was decent as well. Overall nothing too special but it hit the spot.
Best pizza around and great service!! The wings are some of the best around nice n crunchy with a lot of meat
