We love the atmosphere at Grub Stake. We are not locals, but Grub has THE BEST Customer Service ever. The Bartenders treat us like locals, that's why we frequent the place. Each time my coworkers and I want to have a girls night out, Grub is always voted for a fun, friendly night. They have a short and sweet, but tasty selections of food in their menu. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Families with kids are welcome here as well. The restaurant has a family side, and the other side of the restaurant is for adults only. Locals of Helena, MT frequent this place. I guess we are considered locals here for now too since we frequent it much, while we are in Helena for a few months.
What a great place! Came in on a Saturday late morning/early afternoon. Girl friend’s biscuits and gravy was awesome-my breakfast croissant was perfect. Most importantly, The guys running things (Ian and Lou) went over the top on being great to us. They’re just amazing people. Very nice, very personable- had a great time- we’ll definitely be back many, many times… thanks! Jimmy and Ang
Had the main rib and fried mushrooms, and I warmly support both! Quality, attentive service and cozy atmosphere. Good for family food or an adult trip and has separate sections for everyone.
First timer. Fabulous mushroom Swiss burger and O-rings first night and shrimp Scampi the next. Delish x2
