We were there for dinner tonight, August 11th, with a group of 10. Since the reservation in April, the hosts knew that 10 people would come to eat. After being greeted by the waiter, we were immediately told that we shouldn't all order a different dish. On the occasion of the reservation not a word was pointed out; Otherwise we probably would have preferred a different restaurant. In the starter, Vitello Tonnato, a small live snail was hiding under a lettuce leaf. The service staff, pointed out, apologized briefly and that's it. Waiting time per course was at least an hour. I had to wait over 2 hours to receive a mediocre meal of which half the meat was perfect and the other half not edible. My cousin had a hair in her food. The others on my table got asked if they want another softdrink, whilst my empty bottle got carried away without even asking for a new one.
Double-Whammy today at gruenebode: we had the Thursday (3 courses for 49 chf) venaison season so it was a solid! great place for a tete-a-ten dinner, with prosecco cupli and french wein we really enjoyed eating (pumpkinsuppe, Venaison,...and zimt parfait) it was like our desert: parfait! thanks for the great evening!
We were a few times in Summer. The furniture in the garden is very outmoded, seems a little dusty. A lot of sauces smell like convenience blend. And one of the waiters really needs a shower. Unpleasant to eat with a sweat cloud in the...air every few minutes..

had an amazing family dinner in the restaurant. the nüsslisalat is amazing, the main was stroganof, that was absolutely fantastic! the prices are not so cheap, and seemed very full, so it is best to make a reservation before going.
Every Thursday they can choose so many courses they like. for ex. 3 courses and if they realize that they are still hungry, they can still order a cure, really a special thing and a very good idea!
Very nice dining, with a lot of variety and interesting menu choice. Go on a Thursday evening for a special menu.
