we came to this restaurant because of his call for good fondue. the server strongly encouraged us to order the fondue for two people who have an salat, a portion dried meat, a fondue tank with brot and kartoffels and two glasses with...winning for 45 chf per. what we received was disappointing for the price. the salat was perhaps half a cup of arugula/rocket with no other sweet (last salad we had in a land of delicious salads). The four to five thin slices of dried meat were tasteless. the wine, although good, was two small half glasses. the fondue itself was good with lots of broth and kartoffels, but when the bill came for 90 chf, the worth was for what we received was minimal compared to...
Family meal, small noisy restaurant. Half and half fondue at 30chf per person a little expensive, meringue dessert with gruyere cream at 13chf it's excessive especially for a small pot of cream. Responsible by the whole trader because he makes a mistake on the bill and asks you for 10chf when you left a bill of 255 CHF for four people, he is offered a 10 euro note and he wants to apply the shameful change. Excellent service. The place was packed and we'd missed the first round of seating, so we waited for a table to clear. The staff treated us like family they were so kind while we waited. We had an assortment of dishes, including fondue all were fantastic. Looked like there were a few large parties, so the place can obviously accommodate them even though it's not very big. Ambience is exactly like the photo warm and friendly.

Meal with friends (9 people). Hunting menu at CHF 71/person, let's just say that we feel that we are in the center of Lausanne. High prices for minimum quantity. Top quality meat. Menu without dessert... rarely seen. Slate over CHF 1000, digestive or coffee not offered. The service is great, but managers not sales. Prices too high.

Had dinner here with a friend. She had veal in cream and mushroom sauce and I had beef stroganoff. Both dishes were tasty, but nothing to write home about.

place smelled weird. otherwise everything was amazing server was especially nice and helpful. food is simply spectacular.
A little noisy, but nice. The price of the Grutli fondue is a little high but still very good.
