I went on a Saturday night and had the table d'hote, a braised lamb shank. Supper yummy, it reminded me of my grandmothers cooking. The chipotle in the braising sauce was background enough for anyone with a Canadian palate to enjoy with just a soupçon...of heat and smoke. The lamb was of a very good portion and perfectly cooked. Fall off the bone is not good when it comes to lamb shank. If the lamb falls off the bone it is beyond cooked. Properly cooked the lamb shank should pull off the bone easily. Most restaurants strive to accommodate their customers, especially during a pandemic. However, this particular restaurant fell short in our experience tonight. We discovered a large insect in our tortilla dish, which made us feel nauseous and stopped us from finishing our meal. The waiter did not react to the situation and did not offer any compensation. Despite having visited this restaurant since it opened, we have always found the service and food to be mediocre at best. It seems that they have not made any improvements, but have instead raised their prices. In my opinion, cleanliness in the kitchen is essential for any restaurant. This experience left us feeling disgusted.
most Mexican food ever. the owner was there (he introduced himself) and I asked him to arrange a few who called my attention in the menu, well I realized that he did not have the presentation of what Mexican food is about (I lived in mexiko. for years and I love his gastronomy). I decided to give him a chance for the cook, after all the owner is not the one cook. Although I was open, it wasn't even average eating. it was a waste of time and money. Last but not least, the bar-tender didn't know how to make a michelada! omg, about Mexican drinks, that's a reason. won't be there, that's a thing.
The food was good and the location and interior design are really nice!! BUT the waiter was so rude. After eating, we paid for our meal without tipping and the waiter was so rude! He then proceeded to tell us that the top was not...included and started discussing with us. After that he made us really uncomfortable and wanted to force us to tip by intimidating us. After trying that without succeeding, he walked away without giving us our receipt and without saying goodbye. To conclude: The food was good and the service was rude

If you're tired of the usual Tex-Mex style Mexican cuisine, look no further - this is an authentic Mexican restaurant catering to those who appreciate the finer tastes of southern cuisine. My wife, son, and I celebrated a birthday here and enjoyed all the dishes. My wife ordered a glass of sangria with an enchilada platter, while I had burritos. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was beautiful. And best of all, it wasn't too expensive.
Went with a group the other night. The chicken rajas was recommended. It was bland without any particular taste. The plate came with rice and a bit of vegetable and was The corn chips and salsa on the table were good. The chicken with...avocado wasn’t any better. The chicken salad was ok. Of the of us, at least half wouldn’t return. There must be better Mexican or at least at a better price. Service was very good.
This restaurant has a good vibe. The food is nice and the atmosphere is great. On Fridays and Saturdays the music is a bit louder to give it a nice bar feel for those who like Latin music. The shrimp tacos are really good. The...nachos are also very tasty and they have good cocktails. The service is a bit slow but with the atmosphere and nice music you tend to forget about the service quality.
The sangria was delicious, the guacamole was tasty, but we were disappointed with the shrimp and fish tacos. The batter was too heavy and extremely greasy. The shrimp were fried for too long, resulting in a dark brown color. Hopefully, they will improve their recipes or change their chefs. The location was great, but we were not impressed with the food.

Delicious food. Reasonable price. Not sure why this place isn't rated higher. Great flavour and quality, and great Sangria. My only comment is service is just average and it's a tad cold, but, So is Winter in Montreal. I'll definitely be back often.
