Small restaurant looks kind of run down on both the outside as well as the inside, needs very deep cleaning, new clear outdoor signage. Very inexpensive lunch specials were tasty enough, though the soup that came w.it was inedible (clear vinegary soup w.bamboo slices tofu), long cabbage filled egg roll was ok, Beef in Black Bean Sauce Ginger Beef were indistinguishable but both were good, lots of food, nice stir fried crunchy fresh vegetables, hot steamed white rice. We ordered General Toa Spicy chicken fried rice with chicken beef in Black Bean Sauce -and it was all SOO DELICIOUS!! Quality wise but also the way that the tastes were balanced. Very kind and dedicated staff, which is always a nice extra. My husband and I eat a lot of Chinese food all over the world so we're not pleased that easily because of the many many many Chinese dishes we've had throughout the years and continents but this place really deserves the spotlight.

Best take out Chinese food place in the area! Food was quick, fresh, and large portions. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. This is right next to the 7-11 on Portola. They have lunch and dinner specials. Pictured: egg rolls and lunch special with fried rice and orange chicken. Everything was delicious! Can't wait to go back and try more rems on their menu!
