We played on Friday August 28 at the guinguette with our Jazz STJ trio. The place is very nice on the banks of the Saône, the atmosphere was cool and we had a good time. The owners gave us a great welcome. If you want to spend a good evening, enjoy the shady site and eat with simple but very good quality cuisine, the Guinguette La Plage de Verdun is the right address! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A very simple little guinguette where you can taste fries, andouillettes and ice cream. You can even enjoy a short kayak tour on the Doubs and the Saône with a small souvenir photo offered at the end. Very nice staff! We had a great time there with our children. Hired us 5 kayaks for a couple of hours. Friendly, relaxed but good instruction and gear. Owner might possibly be Harrison Ford having a break from Hollywood. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
