We 'd made a reservation. Table for 2 at 11:00pm. Arrived 5 minutes early and was told by the head waiter to go to the bar to get a drink. So far so good. Then the 'fun ' started. We spotted two waiters carrying a table from a store area and place it in an area next to the used beer kegs and in an aisle. All the other tables were occupied and no one was going anywhere fast. We had a wonderful meal here. After attempting to get a table in two other restaurants along the river and being spoken to rudely both times we decided to try this place. The chef greeted us and was very friendly. It was busy with locals so we could tell the food was probably going to be good. The fish and meat is priced by the kilo so this is not a cheap meal. The croquetas were the best we’ve ever tasted. The scallops were delicious also. I highly recommend the sea bass. We also had a txuleta which is a large beef steak joint to share. It was about 11:45 pm, the restaurant was full, but they accept us the same and we wait just 5 minutes before disgusting a wonderful 1kg piece of beef, txuleta mode (in 2 of course). Amazing !
El mejor asador del mundo. Productos super frescos y el parrillero es el crack de las parrillas. Un granaino que disfruta de este asador cuando va por Bilbao.
