My wife and I are from LA and are used to waiters not giving a care about service; Jazmine on the other hand was exceptional with her presentation and smile. She really made an effort to make us all feel welcome and appreciated for our business. When I hesitated on my beer selection she gave a sample of the ones I was interested in. The delicious smell outside is deceiving. We had the cornbread which just didn't taste right and I had the rib and chicken combo with Memphis ribs and fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. The bbq sauce on the ribs was really good but the rib meat was tough and on the dry side. First time having that style so not sure if that's how it's supposed to be. I dine and take out, I ordered 9 combo dishes for me and my co-workers on Thursday, bought it home and took to work on Friday. I had just shared a meal with a friend on Tuesday there and enjoyed the Catfish and Fries, took a dish of the combo home, oh my goodnes, it was amazing. So I had to shared with my co-workers, two had never had combo before, everyone loved it, now I'm stuck on the Catfish and combo, I'm from Louisiana and the there dishes are never a disappointment. For the first time, Gus is with my baby sister on July 4th Independence Day. I was super excited and surprised with the service and the full rack of St. Louis spare ribs and two sides. Customer service was great and my order was ready before the call ever got cold. I recommend Gus' BBQ to everyone who wants the best in town. Everything was a current experience and I am glad that we chose Gus for our holiday meal. Thank you for the great experience and good RIBS.

This was our first time back since their reopening; we were greeted warmly and welcomed back by staff and management. This has been our Sunday breakfast place for a long time and hope that they are able to return to serving breakfast soon. In the meantime we will have lunch
Food was so so good! Brisket was so juicy and fatty I loved it. Went with my two girl friends and it filled all of us up. Only negative was the gravy tasted so bad. It had an old taste that just wasn't pleasant. Would definitely go again though!
