The Spatan Octoberfest on tap was ice cold. The blue cheese on the salad was very creamy. The rye bread was very fresh. Mashed potatoes were fluffy. Red cabbage was tender. Schnitzel was crispy. $21.95 for the pork schnitzel dinner. $25.95 for the veal schnitzel dinner. Our waitress, Debbie, was very nice and did not rush us. Will be back.
We lived in Newburgh, NY and visited friends who traveled from Italy and Pennsylvania. Thursday night we went as a group. Most of our group ordered the two lobstertail special. Very recommended. Delicious. Everything was perfect. If we were back in Newburgh, NY, we would definitely go back to Gus's Tavern!
Gus's is my favorite restaurant!!! The food is always great and made just to perfection. Above everything else the Staff is considerate caring and polite. Debbie is the greatest. She is on top of things and always had s great sense of humor. I would highly recommend it!!!! Sue Mistretta
My fiance and I enjoy going to Gus'. The food is wonderful and the service is great. They make you feel at home. We recently had a baby and went to dinner at Gus' and we were able to sit in our own little area. It was very quaint. Will definitely be regular customers there. Book a table now
The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was great. I really enjoyed the calfshaxe; however, the late zle and red cabbage that accompanied it were a bit disappointing. The apple strudel for dessert was delicious, and the coffee was good as well.
The food is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy a great meal in a warm and inviting setting.

We are all satisfied. Three of us had Steak and we were all very satisfied. One person had fish and it was very good. We'll go back there soon.
