From the minute we walked in the restaurant the staff made us feel so welcome! The food is out of this world,every course we were blown away! We went there for our 17th Wedding Anniversary whilst stopping at The Conrad! We knew we had chose somewhere so special once we saw the 1st course! We loved the atmosphere so much we booked to go back there on our last night of our holiday!The wine was superb with our meal and loved the entertainment on the Thursday night! We walked in the restaurant and met the staff we walked out the restaurant with the staff being our friends! They make they experience just as good attending all your needs I hate fish so they notified the chef who made dishes for me...
Wir essen seit Jahren 2-3 im Jahr im Gusto und waren bisher immer begeistert. Der letzte Besuch war leider enttäuschend. Während das Personal wie immer eine herausragende Leistung ablieferte, kann man das vom Essen leider nicht behaupten. Von den sechs Gängen waren drei hervorragend, ein Gang ganz OK und zwei nichtssagend und langweilig. Die Grüße vom Koch, auf die wir uns immer so gefreut hatten, könnte man sich auch sparen, fad und überflüssig. Wenn wir uns nicht an dem äußerst leckeren Brot vergnügt hätten, wären wir diesmal tatsächlich hungrig davongegangen. Decepcionante nossa primeira visita. Começámos com alguns erros: pedimos o menu de degustação mais completo, 9 pratos e 200€, com harmonização de vinhos, mais 100€ por pessoa. Passados três minutos, dizem-nos que nas três primeiras passagens não têm vinho na harmonização, e oferecem um copo de chapagne, mais 29€. Cinco minutos depois, informam que a trufa branca do prato de lagostim tem outro suplemento. Desta vez, mais 20€ por pessoa. Não farei mais comentários... A comida? bem, como poderia ser de outra forma. Surpresas? Nenhum. Pior, um lírio escondido sob um molho de tomate, um tortellini invadido pelo sabor predominante de erva-doce e um porcini achatado. Maybe we just picked a particularly 'off'' evening, but we were so underwhelmed by the standard of food. Having read all the very positive reviews on TA we were frankly taken aback by the sheer bland taste of the food. We had the seven course taster menu with wine pairing. The service, food presentation and wine were all perfectly fine but the food was a big disappointment. It felt as though a lot of effort went into the dining experience from the attentive service to the appearance and presentation of the food but somehow, someone forgot to sample the taste. No 'WOW' factor whatsoever which is very disappointing considering the prices charged.
Passamos momentos excepcionais, tudo foi perfeito (jantar no sábado, 28 de outubro de 2023). Um quarto muito bonito, decorado com bom gosto. Um grande número de funcionários, muito disponíveis, sorridentes, que se esforçam para falar em francês, muito atenciosos, que desejam partilhar a sua paixão. Serviço impecável. Pratos que aliam bom gosto, tecnicidade e criatividade, tudo o que se espera de um restaurante estrelado. Aqui está um restaurante de 1 estrela que deverá receber em breve a sua 2ª. Visitamos regularmente restaurantes com estrelas Michelin, mas conhecemos poucos que atingem este nível.
Très bonne adresse on est très bien reçu, il faut se laissé guider par le menu découverte et vous serez pas déçus du résultat, du début jusqu'à la fin le professionnalisme est présent je le conseille fortement
