AVOID AVOID AVOID. Stayed at guys on Saturday for a golden wedding anniversary. The hotel room had no running water as the taps were broke and the tv had no signal. We booked the Italian restaurant for the evening as there was a party of 12. They brought out 2 raw meals that was sent back that wasnt replaced and also missed a main course order and was only offered after everyonelse had finished their meal. The following day my parents ate and drank at the pub part of the hotel, they tried over charging two elderly pensioners, 1 with dementia for extra drinks. They won't refund for the room. We took advantage of the Friday Feeling offer and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The meals at both the pub and the Italian restaurant were delicious. The staff were friendly, especially in the breakfast restaurant and the Italian restaurant. The hotel is a lovely place with spacious, clean rooms.
Very disappointed in my accommodation when I opened the door to my room I was overwhelmed by the smell of bleach tried to air the room as not pleasant to sleep in chemical fumes but it did not help. I will not book a room here again the decor was so tired too it was depressing .
What a lovely restaurant! I discovered it by chance and had an amazing lunch. While it's not the cheapest option, it's reasonably priced given the quality of the food, the service, and the atmosphere. I can't wait to return!

Amazing food ! Especially the Italian !!! Stayed here for one night over the Easter holidays and was amazing. Lovely staff and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend, lovely canal too, lovely little pub, tavern
We visited Old Guys, an Italian restaurant, and had a fantastic experience. The portions were generous and the sea bass was delicious.
Not good this time . Water was Luke warm and when put taps on on room smelt of sewage
