I visited the GW Grill for the first time for drinks and dancing. The bartender was friendly but very busy, making it difficult to get drinks. On my second visit for Mother's Day, the service was terrible despite the restaurant not being busy. They seemed annoyed by our presence and never checked on us for refills. My food took a long time to arrive and the drinks were scarce. Even though we were staying for an evening event, we chose to pay our bill early and get our own drinks. The server was unhappy with our low tip and confronted us about it. Getting drinks at the bar was also a challenge. We waited over 20 minutes to be served a drink at the bar due to the bartenders changing shifts. Despite only two occupied tables in the dining room, it took an additional 20 minutes before our order was taken. Unfortunately, when our food arrived, mine was served cold (or room temperature). Despite multiple requests to speak with the manager, we never had the opportunity and received insincere apologies for the mistakes made.
Was able to get reservation for the time our group of 8 wanted. We felt the 2 tables that were put together were not large enough to sit comfortably. Adrian our server quickly fixed the problem.
Salmon and Yukon gold mashed potatoes, just excellent every time! Great service, both a fun bar scene and a great quieter dining area for date night. You just have to go!
