H-e-b Bakery - Table reservation

I have been a regular at this restaurant for 10 years and I always enjoy their salsa and chips. However, during my last visit with friends, the waiter accused me of eating too much salsa without informing me. I had not consumed any more than usual and had never been charged for it before. The waiter refused to remove the charge from the check, so I spoke to the waitress who handled the payment. She also sided with the waiter and said it was up to him to determine how much salsa I was allowed to have. The service and food were both disappointing. We arrived for a late lunch and ordered cheese enchiladas. We waited longer than expected for our meal and observed that others who came in after us received their food before us. The cheese in the enchiladas was not melted and was hard. It seemed like it had been melted at some point, but not when it was served to us. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience.

I requested a cake with bluebonnets on the side, but the flowers did not resemble bluebonnets. I also asked for the color blue, but received purple instead. I am embarrassed to use this cake for our baby shower.

Good cheap tex-mex food. Tapatia nachos are always good. Nice selection of tortas as well. Service is slow at times but they hustle to get you taken care of.

mmmmm good, Taco salad hit the place, fast service and fair prices. you can't go wrong here. If you're hungry, it's your fault.
