Found this pub with outdoor dining on the corner of Friesenstrasse and Friesenwall. The kitchen looked big and action-packed and could be seen in operation from the outside tables. I had Argentinian Rumpsteak with salad and Belgian-style fries. The service was reasonably prompt and courteous...even tho it appeared that I was served by or different waiters/waitresses intermittently. The steak was excellent in taste and presentation and better than I had expected and the salad and dressing too was as good as I had hoped for. Ended up here with a big group of about persons, since we did not book early enough anywhere else for dinner. They were able to accommodate us in the back section, of this pub restaurant. The menu was varied pub food fare, with some...tapas like selections, but mainly local comfort food. Ordered a steak which was fine and enjoyed the beer making for a good group dinner, but nothing outstanding. Service was friendly which made for a decent meal, without any memorable experiences neither bad nor great
Gut ich kenne nur die Mittagskarte, aber die ist definitv nicht mehr als der langweilige Durchschnitt, nichts was einen Begeistert, aber auch nichts schlecht genug für einen schlimmen Verriß. Gleichwohl es gibt vieles was mehr begeistert und dies gilt für Küche wie den Service.
Lovely little place with great atmosphere. We shared thectapas for and it was an interesting selection. Dates wrapped in prosciutto were awesome. Food was excellent value. Soft drinks were more expensive than beer though

Took an hour to get served , overpriced and they don't honor the gratis kaffee that says one gets with the check in
