we had a great time at hackneys in igloos! such a fun time, my children absolutely loved it! service was great. that was not eating. we had the kartoffel skins at the beginning - no taste at all, I had a grilled chicken sandwich, my man had French dip and literally there was no taste for everything, including the pommes, only very blazing. also the children's meal grilled cheese was half a sandwich (so a piece brot) for $9.95 it was a nice evening, but go for the experience and definitiw not to eat.
We were in the domes at 5:00 with only one other dome occupied at the time. It took the server ten minutes before he came over to take our drink order. Another ten to get the drinks. Food came quickly, however, we were informed that our time had run out before we finished our meal/drinks and another party was waiting. I do understand the need to keep the domes on schedule, but service caused a rush experience at a relatively slow time of day.
One of the servers was very nice, but the other seemed to be in a bad mood. I understand that everyone can have a rough day, but it shouldn't affect service. I have fond memories of Hackney's from my younger days, but those have faded, and I won't be returning. There are many better dining options out there, so I wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money here.
We ate in a geodesic dome and it was wonderful. Warm and cozy with space heaters, blankets and soft pillows for your chairs. The food was great and my kids loved eating in our own little tent. Our server was kind, friendly and very quick. It was a great night out! Book a table now
We did one of the igloos to celebrate a 13 year old’s birthday. Great fun! Awesome experience dinner. As always a hackney hamburger was delicious! Leave room for dessert all of them we had were amazing (bread pudding, chocolate cake, and leprechaun pie)
skunk ran before me: tweebel rings good, but greasy. welcome back to the middle west: in out burger had good season and taste. coleslaw was good... too small of portions. fries tasted like fish. we change the fat.
The igloo experience was wonderful. The servers were attentive, the ambiance was wonderful. The food was very bland bar food. Cole here for the experience, but not a tasty meal.

blue cheese burger on grilled roggenbrot outside the harms location; hard to beat a large burger eaten on their 'terrasse'.
