Came here for a Sunday brunch as we were staying at the lodge just above the cafe. Food was great (shame I didn’t get a photo of the food must have been too hungry lol we ordered the bacon and egg roll and the menemen (They had a limited menu due to Covid . Both dishes were yum! Was not expecting the bacon and egg roll to be so large generous serve of bacon, 2 eggs and the brioche bun was so delicious!! The owner is amazing loved the atmosphere he created and how he interacted with all the guests. Made it a breakfast to remember :
This cafe is not your average spot. The owner/barista has a unique personality and isn't shy about boasting about his excellent coffee, which is indeed quite good. However, I wasn't a fan of his bacon and egg rolls because they had too many ingredients. I noticed several customers ordering the large Mediterranean-style breakfast platters which looked appetizing.
the location is very central, the Turkish mood is there, but I would have loved it more if Turkish music was played. the Turkish decoration was tasteful. because of the renovations no food was available, but thanks to the coffee was nice and it was for...it would still have been my seat in coffee in a ceramic cup and not take carton cup.
Love the coffee, love the vibe and love the location of this place. Hakan's is all about making sure you are looked after and you get some yummy coffee and food. I recently discovered a new favorite restaurant in Manly, all thanks to Google. This place has a very authentic Mediterranean atmosphere, and the menu reflects that. The food is delicious, and the service is great, although it can be a bit slower during busy periods.

Great coffee as always. Only takeaway at the moment, had their spiced red lentil soup (Mercimek çorbasi) this arvo. Perfect.
