Cute and moderately sized place. Some dishes were mediocre and others I would get again; the yook gae jang noodles (spicy beef and vegetables) were amazing the broth was especially great. The fried beef and steamed beef dumplings were just OK as well as the spicy rice cake noodle stir fry (wasn't spicy and little sweet). The chicken noodles are just OK as well. There is street parking but metered.
The squid we ordered did not taste fresh. Definitely previously frozen. Also, when we asked for the leftovers togo, we wanted to add in the side dishes that we didn't finish, but the lady said no side dishes allowed. This to me has 2 possibilities, either they rather throw away perfectly good food rather than give it to us, or they put it back to serve other customers.
Halmae Noodles is my new favorite spot! The food here is spectacular, especially the spicy pork—it's a must-try! The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, and the service is top-notch. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving delicious Korean noodles and a great dining experience!
I used to go often because the food was delicious. The people working are so kind that I am leaving a review. In particular, the woman with dyed yellow hair took really good care of me and was so friendly that I had a pleasant meal. thank you I'll go again next time. Book a table now
I ordered Yukgaejang Kalguksu, but the broth was very strong.. Some people said it was delicious in the reviews, so I ordered it, but I was very disappointed. I don't think I'll order it again. The tteokbokki I just ordered without any expectations was delicious.
This used to be one of my favorite places, but not anymore. For the first time, I ordered clam sujebi and seafood pancake for delivery. It didn't taste like what I had at the restaurant, and the quality was the worst. It just felt like eating plain flour.
Always clean. Neat and tidy. The warm, rich broth flavor reminiscent of grandma’s. I always eat with gratitude. I am always grateful to the two kind owners
