During our visit, the only other customers were three older ladies and a woman with a young child who wouldn't stop screaming. I noticed the suspected owner of the restaurant sitting at a table by the window, working on his laptop, with a framed picture of Guy Fieri on the floor next to him—perhaps it should've been hanging on the wall instead? His phone calls made for an uncomfortable atmosphere. The waitress seemed fine, though her casual t-shirt and jeans didn’t project a professional image. She was friendly enough.

This is a fantastic little spot for Indian cuisine. They offer a wide variety of vegetarian dishes, along with a solid selection of clearly marked vegan options. There are around five vegan main courses, six appetizers, and vegan bread available. When they feature specials or buffets, you can typically find vegan choices as well. The chef and staff are consistently accommodating, friendly, and well-informed, making you feel like you're among friends. Plus, they occasionally play kirtan music, adding to the warm atmosphere.

I absolutely love the food at this restaurant! We chatted with the owner, Deepak, about Indian cuisine once more. I'm not a fan of spicy heat; I prefer nuanced flavors, and they were very accommodating in ensuring that the dishes were not spicy but still incredibly delicious. This was our fourth visit, and we plan to return many more times. I highly recommend you give it a try!

I've come here many times and it never fails to impress me. We got the tandoori platter, lamb kurma, butter chicken, and the chili garlic naan, and each dish was amazing. Not only is the food extremely good but the service is terrific. They are so attentive and nice. Would definitely highly recommend this restaurant.
We dined in for our anniversary and the food and service was the best. I recommend this place to go. You will love it, it's also BYOB as well as take out. I can't say enough great things about Haldi Chowk. I am vegan and had so many choices for me too. You must go.
We just ordered from Haldi Chowk after seeing it on DDD. The fact that it's down the street and we've never ordered it was shocking. It was PHENOMENAL!!! We are fans abs will be ordering regularly!
The channa masala here is fantastic—it's my favorite dish! They are very accommodating to various requests, and the service is excellent.
