My car broke down nearby, so while I was waiting for it to get repaired, I decided to eat at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and reminded me of my mom’s cooking. The two women working there were friendly, and the prices were reasonable. If I didn’t live 5 and a half hours away, I would definitely come back often. Great place!
We love stopping here on our way out of Vermont when we head out for vacations. The food is great and the service is even better. Julie is amazing. She is our waitress every time we come here. Always looking forward to come back on our next trip.

I've always wanted to try poutine and finally got to at the Halfway House! It was delicious! The pie crust was especially delicious as well. Great local diner!
