I visited Hall Woodhouse Bath on a Saturday evening for dinner and drinks with some family. The restaurant and bar is spread over several levels, with the ground floor mainly a bar, then a restaurant level on the first floor. They 've also got a rooftop terrace, which would have been nice to enjoy a pre dinner drink if it wasn 't being a typical British summer and raining. The meal started off very strong, as I shared a Baked Somerset Camembert which was very well flavored and had plenty of things to dip in it. I've been here before and no doubt it has an interesting and feature full decor to be enjoyed. What really rubs me up the wrong way is having to wait 10 minutes to get served because there was only one bar person on, and then having to stop her pouring the drink because the glass was obviously very dirty, and then being charged £11.45 for an Amstel and a Thatchers gold for the privilege of being in the establishment.
I had a business meeting and lunch with some clients on Friday, and I just wanted to thank a particular member of staff called Daisy. She was absolutely delightful, and could not have been more helpful, a real star!

It was quick service but the food came out cold. The mac and cheese was not great. They seemed to wait for everything to be ready and by that time it was cold.
