Searching for a restaurant in any city can be a daunting task at times however for a simple food done well we've often found it hard to go past the restaurants located inside a city's covered market hall. The food is always fresh and usually locally sourced, the ambience is always lively and inviting and as many are frequented by locals they're usually pretty good value too. All this is true of this place at Halles Manger. While the service was a little slow on the day we had lunch it was extremely busy and as we were in no great rush it wasn't a problem. Not surprisingly there was a good range of fish dishes on the menu including squid with chorizo, rouget, fish and chips and bream. We star...

This markey should excite everyone, whether you are a foodie or not. The market stalls are a feast of colour, smell and taste particularly the fish stalls where the just caught tuna 's were being carved and served. The eating and tasting cafes are a must to try the oysters and the octopus pies and as well as the locally baked zezettes washed down with several glasses of the local wines.

Oh my god ! The kind of seafood restaurant where everything form the order to the coffee is just out of the world. Simple, fresh, tasty, and due to the location you’re under the Halles so fresh when outside it’s so hot. But better than words, pictures are speaking by themselves.
