My partner and I had a delightful Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that we had everything we needed. They had a great variety of beers and drinks, although I would have preferred to see more local pale ales on the menu. The restaurant was bustling with diners, which indicates that the food is excellent. Our meal was satisfying and delicious, and we will definitely return in the future.
Very slow to take orders, very slow in between courses. Burgers dry and overcooked, beef and ale pie is far too strong, tasting of ale and nothing else. Asked for bill and nothing happened, we were still sat there nearly half an hour later. Won't visit again, plus it was my birthday meal from my children. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2

I liked that the pub had a vegetarian option called 'butternut loaf'. However, I found the price of £12.50 a bit expensive considering it is the same price as a meat option.

"Ordered good at 5pm. Told an hour for delivery. Checked why it hadn't arrived at 6.45 to be told our order hadn't gone through till. It would be cooked and sent straight out. It's now 7.40 and still no food."
